Public Education Programmes/ Publicity Activities on Rehabilitation
The Labour and Welfare Bureau, in collaboration with Rehabilitation Advisory Committee, non-governmental organisations and media/ organisations etc., organises a wide range of public education programmes/ publicity activities on rehabilitation to promote the spirit and core values of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, including the promotion of disability inclusive culture; inclusive workplace; barrier-free environment, transportation, services, information and entertainment; and to raise public’s awareness of talents of persons with disabilities.

(To provide financial support to project proposals which will bring about an improvement to the mental or physical health and well-being of persons with disabilities. Applicants should be Government departments, statutory bodies and registered non-profit making organisations managing or providing medical, educational, rehabilitation and recreational services to persons with disabilities in Hong Kong; and non-profit making self-help groups of persons with disabilities that have been registered in Hong Kong for at least three years.)
