The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Dr Law Chi-kwong, is attending the two-day ministerial segment of the high-level intergovernmental meeting on the midpoint review of the Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities, 2013-2022, jointly organised by the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific and the China Disabled Persons' Federation, in Beijing starting today. The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Dr Law Chi-kwong (seventh right), officiated at the launch ceremony of "Disney Friends for Change Youth Grant" jointly organised by the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) and the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups at HKDL and celebrated HKDL's 12th anniversary. Dr Law commended the programme as it fully demonstrates the synergy brought by the cross-sector collaboration between business and social services sectors. He was impressed by the design of the programme which enables the youngsters to better understand the community needs and put thoughts into action with positive energy to bring care to those underprivileged in the society.
