SLW receives Deputy Minister of Labour of Canada (with photo)

English Caption: The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Matthew Cheung Kin-chung, received Canada's Deputy Minister of Labour, Ms Helene Gosselin, who is on a working visit to Hong Kong, today (April 20). Mr Cheung briefed Ms Gosselin on the latest employment situation and local labour relations, as well as the progress of the Hong Kong-Canada Working Holiday Scheme and the successful implementation of the statutory minimum wage. They also exchanged views on issues of common interest including an ageing workforce and the promotion of occupational safety.
